DETECT ALARMS' featured products are PYROCHEM FM 200
and SEVO SYSTEMS NOVEC 1230 systems.
Sevo systems use
3M NOVEC 1230 agent, and is the most environmentally safe agent
used to replace obsolete halon systems not in manufacture anymore. Novec
1230 has atmospheric life of 3–5 days, Global Warming Potential
(GWP) value of 1, and ozone depletion potential (ODP) of zero.
Sevo systems can be designed as a “direct”
replacement of obsolete systems, or upgrading of existing Halon systems
using existing components. They are compatible with many other manufacturers
equipment and components.
Pyrochem systems
use GREAT LAKES CHEMICAL CORPORATIONS’ FM 200 agent,
and can be designed for occupied or unoccupied areas. The environmental
protection agency (EPA) has even chosen FM 200 to protect their
facility.
The agent storage
tanks come in a wide variety of sizes, to accommodate your application
with as few cylinders as possible. This translates into savings for our
customers as well as less space needed for system components.
